The EPA just released a report that highlights the health effects of global climate change. The report discusses how global climate change will dramatically effect the older populations.

According to the report, “the elderly are identified in many health assessments as more vulnerable than younger age groups to a range of health outcomes associated with climate change, including injury resulting from weather extremes such as heatwaves, storms and floods.”

The report serves as a grave reminder that we must do are part to protect the earth and all of its citizens. Check out some of the environmental stewardship resources available on the AAHSA website.
